Some people are satisfied with any vanity bench, but I wanted to find the perfect one for both my bedroom and my bathroom. I realized very quickly that this might take a great deal of searching, but it was well worth the effort in the end. What I found was that wrought iron styles look the best in the bathroom, whether pushed up against a vanity or placed against the wall, and the wooden types look the best in the bedroom or anywhere else in the home. Though there are some exceptions to these rules, they are true for the most part.
Vanity benches are usually backless and are ideally crafted for one person only. Delicate carvings, stylish and sophisticated designs are some of the characteristic features of vanity benches. The main consideration in buying a vanity bench is space. Elegant vanity benches do not necessarily take up additional space, but they do look out of place if placed in a narrow setting.
Vanity benches have long been a popular piece of furniture for a women’s rooms due to its feminine design. The lines are usually cut very gracefully and look beautiful when paired with a pastel or floral padded seat. The uniqueness in design make it an amazing focal point and especially beautiful when accented with the appropriate accessories throughout the room.
Vanity benches remind us of a past era where it was okay to slow down and to linger over everyday tasks like putting on make up or brushing one’s hair. Today, this luxury can still be part of your day when you place a gorgeous vanity bench in your bedroom or dressing room.
